Welcome to JARS - Jesuit Antiracism Solidarity East, an initiative by River Of Life Assemblies Int’l. Our mission is to promote antiracism and solidarity within the Jesuit community in the Eastern region. We believe in the power of education, dialogue, and action to address systemic racism and create a more inclusive and just society.
About JARS
JARS is a community and society project that aims to bring members of the Jesuit community together to address racism from various perspectives. Through our programs and initiatives, we seek to foster understanding, challenge biases, and promote antiracist values and practices.
Our Vision
At JARS, our vision is to create a community within the Jesuit network that actively works towards dismantling racism and promoting solidarity. We envision a society where all individuals are treated with dignity, respect, and equality, regardless of their racial or ethnic background.
Our Programs and Initiatives
1. Education and Awareness
Education is at the core of our efforts to combat racism. We offer workshops, seminars, and training sessions to educate our community members on the historical and contemporary issues of racism. Through these programs, we aim to raise awareness, challenge stereotypes, and foster empathy.
2. Dialogue Circles
