Welcome to the 2016 Holy Week Schedule at River Of Life Assemblies Int’l! We invite you to join us as we commemorate and celebrate this sacred period of the year. Our community of believers gathers together during Holy Week to reflect, worship, and observe the significant events leading up to the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Palm Sunday

Kicking off the Holy Week observances, Palm Sunday holds a special place in our hearts. On this day, we remember Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem and the crowds who welcomed Him with palm branches and shouts of "Hosanna!" Join us for a powerful worship service at 10 AM, followed by a special children's program.

Maundy Thursday

Maundy Thursday, also known as Holy Thursday, commemorates the Last Supper Jesus shared with His disciples. We gather together at 7 PM to partake in a meaningful communion service, reflecting on the significance of Jesus' sacrifice and the commandments of love He left us with.

Good Friday

Good Friday is a solemn day of remembrance and reflection on the crucifixion of Jesus. At River Of Life Assemblies Int’l, we hold a special Good Friday service starting at noon. Join us in prayer, worship, and contemplation as we remember the ultimate sacrifice Jesus made for humanity.

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday is the pinnacle of our Holy Week celebrations. We rejoice and proclaim the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which brings hope, redemption, and new life. Our Easter Sunday service begins at 9 AM, filled with joyous worship, inspiring messages, and the fellowship of believers. After the service, join us for an Easter egg hunt and a time of community celebration!

Additional Events and Services

Throughout the week, we have several additional events and services to enhance your Holy Week experience:

  • Prayer Vigil: Starting on Monday and continuing until Friday, we hold a continuous prayer vigil where individuals can sign up for a specific time slot to spend time in prayer and reflection.
  • Passover Seder: Join us on Tuesday evening as we partake in a traditional Passover Seder meal, deepening our understanding of the Jewish roots of our faith.
  • Foot Washing Service: On Thursday evening, following the Maundy Thursday service, we offer a foot washing service as a symbolic act of humility and servanthood.
  • Stations of the Cross: Throughout the week, our sanctuary is open for personal visits to the Stations of the Cross, allowing you to journey through the last moments of Jesus' life through interactive displays and guided reflections.
